Byron’s Best Wedding Recovery Location….The Bangalow Bowlo

Last weekend we were thrilled to collaborate with the gals from WEDSHED for one awesome wedding recovery at the Bangalow Bowlo.

There is no better place to cure your champagne hangover with a ‘hair of the dog’, swilling on a Bloody Mary or our new favourite Stone & Wood – Watermelon, Cucumber & Mint Ale – AKA The Gatherer. Sacha from One Green Acre created a scrumptious spread of freshly shucked oysters, gourmet platters and a pig on the spit to soak up any last remaining alcohol in your system.

Guests traded their high heels for some barefoot bowls, a relaxed vibe to chill & ‘recover’. Friends & family mingled, gushed over the bride Sarah’s dress, laughed over the antics from the Best Man’s speech, shared stories of the magical wedding at Forget Me Not like ‘who wore it best’, who shamed or out did themselves on the dance floor, who was the last to leave and how romantic was the first dance under the stars in a naked tipi. Oh what a night!

We love the Bowlo but felt we needed to up the ante on the furniture & styling. We created an uber chic & relaxed chill out zone complete with Lounge Pods, High Bars, Café Tables and a Day Bed (for those needing a few more winks)! We styled with a couple of tropical plants and cushions from our Emerald Green Bahama package. An awesome place to eat, drink, relax and recover!
